It’s a fact that we judge an email by its subject line, there’s no need to deny that. 47% of marketers use different subject lines in the same campaign just to test it and optimize it. This is why subject lines play such a huge role in the success of your campaigns. If you want to succeed you’ll need to master the technique of crafting a subject line compelling enough. Luckily for you, we’re here to help you!

A subject line is the first thing your subscribers will see and in an inbox of many other emails, your subject line needs to stand out to get your subscriber’s attention so that they’ll click it and read it.

Before we tell you our greatest subject lines, we need to go through some facts. That way you’ll be able to make your great subject lines after reading this.

If you want your emails to get clicks, make sure you include some kind of time-limited offer in your subject line and make your subscribers eager to open your emails.

Another great thing to do is to make your subscribers curious about your emails with a mysterious subject line.

And as we’ve mentioned in other posts, it’s important to make your emails personal, which will generate a much higher CTR (click-through rate). So make sure you use your subscribers’ names for example.

You can also use name recognition. For example, if you’re working together with a celebrity, use it. Display this celebrity’s name, but make sure it’s relevant to your brand.

Last but now least we want to tell you about using your subject line as the beginning of a story. The only way for them to read more is to click on your email. Just like mentioned above, make sure this is also relevant for you and your brand.

Just like everyone else, we also like to see examples of what we’re about to do. And I bet you feel the same, so we won’t keep you any longer. A list of examples, by category, for your subject lines follows.
